Charleston Trip November 2022

Hey everyone!  The busiest part of the year is over. (Like crazy busy). Our final trip of the year to Charleston is complete, but it didn’t come without what some would call adventure, and some would call just a little bit scary.

Hurricane Nicole was making its way through Florida as we drove fearlessly to South Carolina.  She wasn’t supposed to hit Charleston, yet the outer bands of Nicole did.

The first night we arrived it was wet, and the water level was pretty high, some roads were loaded with low country overflow water. No worries, the Airbnb owner told us not to be concerned, it will be beautiful tomorrow!  Ok let’s get through the night haha!

We fell asleep with the tv on and were woken up by loud beeping from the television. Just a tornado warning, Yikes!  I opened the front door, and it was pitch black and the ocean sounded very different. Not really sure how to describe but it was quite ominous sounding. Long story short, tornado hit elsewhere, and we lived to play another day!

We completed our final senior shoots throughout the week with plenty of great images (and weather). I have to mention to that we enjoyed a ridiculously good plate of pulled pork Nachos from Rita’s on Folly beach. The smoked pork in those nachos was indescribably good!  Thank you, Rita’s!

One of our seniors started at Folly beach pier, at 6 AM and included “The Pink Figgy” Figaro, a beautiful little car for the second location. As always, Meredith Collins (pink figgy owner) was sweet and accommodating to us and our client, thank you!!

We wrapped up our Senior shoots to begin our drive home titled: “From sand to snow in 13 hours”. There was rain, but the impending question was, “would we beat the Erie snowstorm?”

We arrived home safely just as the snow started to fall that night. We woke up to a snow-covered neighborhood and were so relieved we didn’t have to drive through it!

Now we finish out this year with editing, and planning for our 2024 Senior Influencer consults. We’re making plans to add to this experience for clients to be more personal and as seamless as we can. We’ve got many ideas to create more exciting, unique and desirable experiences for every client we book!

We’re thankful that we can say client, yet we end up really finding out who you are by hearing your life stories, accomplishments, and plans for your future!  You’re friends!  You make us laugh, (sometimes cry) and allow us to just be ourselves with you!

Thank you ALL so much for letting me share this experience with you which is so much more to me than just clicking a button on a camera!

Thank you, friends, Erie and Charleston, we appreciate your support and promise to always give you our best!
